Parliamentary vs presidential: a one-page politics revision
1973 Constitution, National Assembly term, and the Senate as a continuing house.
Pakistan’s 1973 Constitution (as amended) is parliamentary. The National Assembly’s ordinary term is five years unless dissolved earlier. The Senate is not dissolved as a whole. Money bills originate in the National Assembly. These are the bones of dozens of FPSC/PPSC/CSS items.
