Punjab’s provincial civil service exam (and sister PMS exams in other provinces). Screening + written + interview.

Eligibility

Usually a bachelor’s degree, Punjab (or relevant province) domicile, and age limits from the PPSC/PMS advertisement. Do not copy last year’s cutoff as this year’s rule.

Pattern

A screening MCQ test is often used, followed by written papers (English, Pakistan Studies, current affairs, Islamic studies, and optionals as notified) and an interview.

Syllabus

Overlap with CSS compulsory papers is high: Pakistan Affairs, Current Affairs, English, and Islamic Studies. Provincial papers add local history, language, and service rules as the advertisement states.

Study plan

Pair PPSC past-paper style MCQs with CSS-style written practice. Keep a domicile/quota checklist from the official ad, not from coaching rumours.
